Bhadrak: The COVID-19 tally in Bhadrak district surged to 627 on Saturday with the detection of 20 more cases in the last 24 hours.
Of the new patients, 12 are local contact cases while eight are in quarantine centres.
Among the eight new COVID-19 cases in quarantine centres, two are returnees from Hyderabad and Uttar Pradesh while six are from Tihidi block.
Out of the 12 local contact cases, nine are from Bhadrak municipality while three are from Dhamnagar.
