Bhadrak: The COVID-19 tally in the district surged to 652 on Sunday with the detection of 25 more new cases in the last 24 hours.
Of the new patients, 19 were affected by local contacts and the rest six in quarantine centres, according to a district collector tweet.
Among the six cases from quarantine centres, two each were reported from Tihidi and Dhamnagar blocks of the district.
Majority of the local contact cases belong to Bhadrak Municipality while three are under treatment at Utkal Hospital in Bhubaneswar and SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack.
