COVID-19 Tally In Cuttack City Nears 200-Mark; Know The Details Of New Patients

Cuttack: The Millenium City reported five fresh COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours, which took the affected tally to 198.

These are among 29 new cases detected in Cuttack district.

According to Cuttack Municipal Corporation, two members of a family, who are contacts of a previously known case from the cancer hospital in the city, have tested positive for the virus. They were in home quarantine at Shankarpur colony in Badambadi. A 29-year-old corona warrior and a 25-year-old woman from SCB Medical College and Hospital’s isolation ward have also been infected.

“Active surveillance, contact tracing, and sanitization of the concerned areas are underway,” the post added.

With two deaths and 22 recoveries, Cuttack now has 174 active cases.
