COVID-19 Tally In Cuttack City Nears 3k; 16 From SCB, 13 More COVID Warriors Infected

Cuttack: The COVID-19 tally in Cuttack city touched 2977 with 149 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

According to the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), 71 are local contact cases while 43 have been detected from home quarantine and 35 from institutional quarantine.

Sixteen more cases, including two COVID warriors, have been reported from the isolation ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital here. Apart from these two, the institution quarantine cases include another 11 COVID warriors.

Among the local contact cases, eight are from CDA Sector 7 and four from CDA Sector 9. Seven cases have been reported from Malha Sahi, Manglabagh.

The home quarantine cases include four from Khannagar and five from College Square.

The CMC also informed about 57 more patients recovering from the infection.

With 14 deaths and 1787 recoveries, Cuttack city now has 1179 active cases.
