Phulbani: The COVID-19 tally in Kandhamal district mounted to 788 on Friday with an overnight addition of 16 new cases.
According to the district administration, seven cases have been reported from Tumudibandh, followed by Baliguda (4), Phulbani (2), and one each of Kotagad, Daringbadi, and K.nuagaon.
Among the new cases, nine are from containment zones.
