Berhampur: The COVID-19 testing facility started at MKCG Medical College and Hospital here on Sunday after fully complying with all technical protocols.
On Friday, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) had given the go ahead to MKCG to conduct COVID-19 testing from April 13.
“Laboratory development and equipment installation work is going on in full swing at VIMSAR for commencing testing at the earliest,” the Health and Family Welfare Department tweeted.
I&PR Secretary Sanjay Singh had earlier informed the media that the COVID-19 testing facility at VIMSAR, Burla, is expected to start from April 15.
