Bhubaneswar: Even as total COVID-19 positive cases crossed 3 lakh, recoveries from the disease went closer to it with 1683 more patients getting cured on Saturday.
The Health and Family Welfare department counted 217 recoveries from Khurda, 113 from Sundargarh, 104 from Cuttack, 91 from Boudh, 83 from Kalahandi, 80 from Mayurbhanj, 78 from Balasore, 76 each from Nuapada and Puri, 64 from Angul, 61 from Koraput, 59 from Keonjhar, 55 from Jagatsinghpur and 52 each from Dhenkanal and Kendrapada districts.
Similarly, 46 patients recovered in Balangir, 40 in Bhadrak, 34 each in Jajpur and Nayagarh, 33 in Malkangiri, 32 each in Bargarh and Nabarangpur, 27 in Jharsuguda, 26 in Ganjam, 23 in Sonepur, 20 in Sambalpur, 14 in Rayagada, 12 in Kandhamal, 7 each in Deogarh and Gajapati besides 35 from State Pool.
The total recovered cases of Odisha now stand at 2,86,857 against positive cases of 3,00,140 with 1,372 new cases in the last 24 hours.
