COVID-19 Update: All New Cases In Odisha’s Balasore Are Local Contacts

Balasore: All the COVID-19 positive cases that were reported from the district in the last 24 hours are from local contacts.

While 12 new positive cases were detected during the period, all are from the local contacts, according to district administration sources.

Of the new cases, one is from Balasore Municipality area and the remaining 11 are from five blocks. While six cases were reported from Bhogarai block, two were from Remuna and one each from Basta, Simulia and Khaira blocks.

With 3 deaths and 736 recoveries, Balasore district has 270 active cases at present.
