Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 toll in Odisha rose to 974 on Thursday with 16 more patients succumbing to the disease in the last 24 hours.
According to the Health Department, 4 deaths each are from Bhubaneswar and Balasore, 2 each from Kalahandi, Mayurbhanj and Nayagarh and one from Sundargarh district.
The Health Department has identified the deceased as:
1.A 50-year old male of Balasore district who was suffering from Diabetes.
2. A 72-year old male of Balasore district who was suffering from Diabetes & Hypertension.
3. A 72-year old male of Balasore district.
4. A 68-year old female of Balasore district who was suffering from Diabetes & Hypertension.
5 A 39-year old male of Bhubaneswar.
6. A 61-year old male of Bhubaneswar.
7. An 88-year old male of Bhubaneswar who was suffering from Diabetes & Hypertension.
8. A 71-year old male of Bhubaneswar who was suffering from Diabetes.
9. A 60-year old female of Jharsuguda district who also suffering from Diabetes.
10. A 52-year old male of Kalahandi district.
11. A 30-year old female of Kalahandi district.
12. A 92-year old male of Mayurbhanj district who was suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension.
13. A 57-year old male of Mayurbhanj district who was suffering from Hypertension.
14. A 70-year old male of Nayagarh district.
15. A 55-year old female of Nayagarh district.
16. A 54-year old male of Sundargarh district who was suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension & Chronic Kidney Disease.
