Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 toll in Odisha rose to 958 on Wednesday with 18 more patients succumbing to the disease in the last 24 hours.
Among the new deaths reported from 12 districts, 4 are from Balasore, 2 each from Nayagarh, Puri and Sundargarh and one each from Boudh, Deogarh, Jajpur, Kandhamal, Khurda, Koraput, Mayurbhanj and Sambalpur.
The Health Department has identified the deceased as:
1. A 72-year old male of Balasore district who was suffering from Hypertension.
2. A 94-year old female of Balasore district.
3. A 66-year old male of Balasore district who was suffering from Typhoid Fever.
4. A 70-year old male of Balasore district who was suffering from Diabetes.
5. A 60-year old male of Boudh district.
6. A 70-year old male of Deogarh district.
7. A 62-year old male of Jajpur district who was suffering from Diabetes.
8. A 72-year old male of Kandhamal district who was suffering from Diabetes.
9. A 62-year old male of Khurda district.
10. A 69-year old female of Koraput district.
11. A 55-year old male of Mayurbhanj district.
12. A 75-year old male of Nayagarh district who was suffering from Diabetes, Hypertension.
13. A 72-year old male of Nayagarh district.
14. A 65-year old male of Puri district who was suffering from Hypertension.
15. An 82-year old female of Puri district who was suffering from Hypertension.
16. A 40-year old male of Sambalpur district who was suffering from Diabetes.
17. A 40-year old male of Sundergarh district.
18. A 45-year old female of Sundargarh district who was suffering from Diabetes.
