COVID-19 Update: Odisha’s Bhadrak Reports Second-Highest Case Spike, Tally Crosses 1400

Bhadrak: The COVID-19 tally in Odisha’s Bhadrak touched 1403 on Saturday with the second-highest single-day spike of 102 positive cases.

According to the district administration, 92 of the new cases were local contacts and 25 were detected in quarantine centres.

The highest of 19 cases was reported from Dhamnagar NAC, followed by 15 from Dhamnagar Block, 11 from Tihidi, 10 each from Bhadrak block and Bhadrak municipality, nine from Chandbali NAC, eight each in Chandbali block and Bonth, seven from Bhandaripokhari block, three from Basudevpur Municipality and two from Basudevpur.

With four deaths and 901 recoveries so far, the district has 498 active cases at present.
