COVID Cases Jump By Over 1,000, Near 5,000 In Odisha, TPR 6.71%; Check Details
Bhubaneswar: Odisha’s daily COVID-19 caseload crossed the 4,000-mark on Sunday with 4,714 fresh cases being reported in the last 24 hours. Of them, 416 are children.
Odisha reported 3,679 cases on Saturday, 2,703 cases on Friday, 1,897 cases on Thursday, 1,216 cases on Wednesday, 680 cases on Tuesday, and 424 cases on Monday.
According to the I & PR department, 2,755 are from quarantine and 1,959 local contacts. Khurda reported the highest of 1,619 cases, followed by Sundargarh (662), Sambalpur (437) and Cuttack (360).

With these cases being detected from 70, 200 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 6.71 per cent.
While Odisha now has 16,117 active cases, the affected tally has touched 10,70,869.
