New Delhi: India reported 91,702 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the infection tally to 2,92,74,823 on Friday, the Union Health Ministry reported.
Incidentally, this is the lowest single-day rise in infections in around two months. This is also the fourth day in a row when daily infections in India are below one lakh.
The death toll from COVID-19 climbed to 3,63,079 with 3,403 new fatalities.
