Bhanjanagar: Kabisamrat Upendra Bhanja University (KSUB) in Ganjam district is ready to be converted into a COVID facility.
The exclusively dedicated hospital will have 40 beds with 10 ICU facilities, 24-hour diagnostics, pharmacies and other amenities. Doctors, nurses and other staff will be there to provide 24-hour patient care.
This will be done in collaboration with the state government and the Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS). Forest & Environment and Parliamentary Affairs minister Bikram Keshari Arukha, Kandhamal MP and KIIMS founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta and a team of KIIMS experts visited at KSUB College on Wednesday to inspect the proposed COVID Hospital infrastructure.
