Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 tally in Bhubaneswar rose to 1,252 on Tuesday with overnight addition of 21 positive cases.
Of these new patients, 16 are in quarantine and five are local contact cases.

“Further contact tracing is continuing. The primary contacts and nearby houses are being quarantined, sanitized and these will be under active surveillance,” Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) tweeted on Tuesday.
On the other hand, 49 more patients were cured of the infection, BMC added.
With 11 deaths and 625 recoveries so far, Bhubaneswar has 614 active cases at present.
