Bhubaneswar: Amid the COVID-19 resurgence scare, Odisha saw a slight rise in daily caseload on Thursday with 84 people testing positive in the last 24 hours.
The I&PR Department informed that the new cases were detected in 17 districts. While 49 are from quarantine centres, 35 are local contact cases.
Cuttack district recorded the highest of 25 fresh cases followed by Sudargarh (10).

With this, the COVID-19 tally in Odisha has touched 3,38,489. While 3,35,857 have recovered from the disease, the number of active cases is 661.
