COVID Van Overturns In Odisha’s Gajapati, Driver Critical

Gajapati: The driver of a van, engaged for ferrying COVID-19 patients, sustained grievous injuries after it overturned at Naringi ghat under Mohana police limits in Gajapati district late on Saturday.

Sources said, the driver lost control over the wheels at a turning on Naringi ghat leading to the mishap. The van was then returning to Mohana from Paralakhemundi COVID hospital after dropping two patients of Chandiput. 

The injured driver has been admitted to MKCG Medical College and Hospital in Berhampur.

On being informed, police reached the spot and started an investigation into the matter.
