Covishield Vaccination For 18+ Group In Rourkela From This Date

Rourkela: Here is some good news for Rourkela which is witnessing a surge in COVID-19 cases during the second wave.

From May 11, people in the age group of 18-44 can now take  the Covishield shot.

The decision to inoculate the citizens of Rourkela was taken a day after the state received a consignment of 1 lakh doses of Covishield for the third phase inoculation drive.

Western Odisha Development Council (WODC) Chairman Asit Tripathy informed this on twitter, on Sunday.

Sundargarh registered 934 fresh COVID positive cases and one death in the last 24 hours.
