Bhubaneswar: The Union Health Ministry has modified Co-WIN portal from Wednesday for the second dose of Covishield, informed Additional Chief Secretary, Health, Pradipta Mohapatra, on Wednesday.
In an official communication to all collectors, municipal commissioners, CDMO and PHOs, Mohapatra said the schedule for second dose of Covishield vaccine has been revised to 42 days (6 weeks) after the first dose, which was earlier 28 days (4 weeks).

“Hence, beneficiaries coming for 2nd dose of Covishield between 4 to 6 weeks cannot be vaccinated and CoWIN portal will not allow the same,” he added.
