Bhubaneswar: Marking the completion of ten years, twin cities
Commissionerate Police organised a marathon in Cuttack on Saturday.
The marathon was taken out from the Reserve Police Ground to Indoor
Stadium covering Buxi Bazaar, Chandi Chhack, Kanika Road and Deer
Park.
Sports Minister Chandra Sarathi Behera, who took part in the run,
lauded the steps taken by Commissionerate Police in past ten years in
effectively curbing crime in twin cities.The Minister also placed
emphasis on reduction of youth crime.
The event was actively participated by people from all walks of life
including sportspersons, students, intellectuals, actors, actresses,
political party leaders and senior citizens.
Police Commissioner YB Khurania and other senior police officers were
also present on the occasion.
