Creations Of Over 50 Artists On Display At International Exhibition In Odisha’s Barkul
Berhampur: More than 100 art pieces of renowned artists from seven countries including India, South Korea, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Myanmar are on display at international folk art and painting exhibition ‘Chilika Art Sanctuary’ in Purvasha Folk and Tribal Museum inside the ODIART complex at Barakul.
The exhibition, which was inaugurated by Minister for Tourism Jyoti Prakash Panigrahi through virtual mode on December 9, has been attracting huge crowd. It would remain open for public till January 10, according to the organisers.
The theme of this year’s exhibition is relations between the human being, animals and trees with God. More than 50 artists are participating in the exhibition this time.
Located on the banks of Chilika lake and developed by the Society for Development of Rural Literature, a registered non-profit cultural society, ODIART Centre showcases the traditional, folk and tribal arts of Odisha.
