Rourkela: A cricket betting racket was busted and two bookies arrested from Daily Market here late on Monday.
The accused persons have been identified as Sunil Kumar Singhal (38) and Nagarmal Agarwal (58).
Acting on tip-off, Rourkela Plant Site Police conducted a raid on the market and found the two accepting bets on their mobile phones during Bangladesh and Afghanistan World Cup match.
Police also seized Rs 33 lakh, 15 mobile phones, a TV and calculators from their possession.
Further investigation is on.
