Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police on Monday arrested Bhupinder Singh, Signal Sub-Inspector of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), from Uttarakhand for ditching a woman.
According to reports, the woman in her complaint lodged at Nayapalli police station had stated that Singh had a physical relationship with a promise to marry her. But later, he refused to marry her.
The accused will be brought to Bhubaneswar for interrogation after which he and the victim will be sent for medical examination, Nayapalli police said.
