Bhubaneswar: Authorities have decided to defer post-graduate (PG) examinations to June 1 in view of extensive damage caused by cyclone Fani at the Utkal University of Culture,
All PG examinations, scheduled from May 20, are now rescheduled to start from June 1, said a notification on the varsity’s website. The revised PG exam programme will be notified shortly, Utkal University of Culture registrar Manoj Kumar Das said.
However, the programme for under-graduate exams remained unchanged. The examination for the courses, including BPA, BVA, BHM, BTTM, bachelor of fashion designing, bachelor of interior designing and six-month programmes like Jain Religion and Philosophy and Tamil courses will be held from May 20 at examination centres of different colleges.
Hostels on the university premises will open from May 28, the university said in a notification on Thursday.
