CUO-HAL MoU to promote academic ties

Koraput: Central University of Orissa (CUO), Koraput, and Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), Sunabeda, on Monday signed an MoU to enhance cooperation in regional development.

The MoU signed by Vice Chancellor of CUO Sachidananda Mohanty and HAL’s Executive Director Debasish Deb aims to promote mutual academic and institutional ties through special lectures and personality development programmes. “HAL staff can access the library of CUO. Evening management courses will be opened for the young officer and their spouse in due course. Students of CUO can also access the facilities at HAL and do internship with the organization,” said Mohanty.

Deb said the MoU will help young officers and their spouses to enhance their qualification. “Researchers can work with the CSR team and explore the near vicinity for overall development of the region,” he added.
