Rourkela: The knowledge of customer response before launching a product is essential for success of any start-up, said Dr Vikash Agarwal, an expert in financial analysis, financial planning and investments.
He was speaking at an interactive session of a start-up ecosystem meet organised by Foundation For Technology and Business Incubation, NIT Rourkela on Thursday. He shared his expertise on industry analysis, technology and policies planning & implementation and legal education required for building a start-up ecosystem.
“A startup must possess problem-solving capabilities and develop a market by analysis the demands. Launching a product without knowing the customer response or ignoring its geographical and economical features often lead to setback or stagnant growth. Promotion of products in the local area or where the startup is located should be given importance as it increases the chance of publicity at ground level,” said Dr Agarwal.
The objective of the workshop was to understand the challenges, prospects, issues, concerns, opportunities, legal and procedural issues of entrepreneurship development and related topics. Lectures, practical sessions, and Q&A interactions with participants featured in the workeshop.
