Bhubaneswar: Dr Radharaman Sharma, a well-known consultant psychiatrist, passed away on Monday in the United Kingdom after suffering from COVID-19.
The London-based doctor was a member of Odisha Society of UK (OSUK) and one of his sons is a famous interventional cardiologist. The other is a dentist.
Dr Sharma was in his late 70s.
He had studied at Cuttack’s Stewart School and SCB Medical College and Hospital. He had relocated to the UK later.
He is second person of Odisha diaspora to have fallen victim to the deadly virus.
Sunanda Panda of New Jersey in the US had died of the infection on Sunday.
