Cuttack: The Silver City has been witnessing a declining trend in COVID-19 cases with 438 people testing positive and one succumbing to the virus in the last one week.
Sunday saw the lowest of 53 fresh infections, which took the affected tally to 14540.
According to Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), 14 and 13 of the new cases have been detected from institutional and home quarantine, while the remaining 26 are local contacts.
Two among those infected are COVID warriors.
The city also saw another 68 patients getting cured of the infection.
With 66 deaths and 13623 recoveries, Cuttack city now has 851 active cases.
