Cuttack: The COVID-19 tally in the Cuttack city touched 5796 on Friday with an overnight addition of 227 new cases.
It is for the third consecutive day that the city has reported over 200 new cases. It had seen 237 & 210 people testing positive for the virus on Thursday and Wednesday respectively.
According to the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), 60 are institutional quarantine, 82 home quarantine and 85 are local contact cases.
One new case has been reported from the isolation ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital while three among the institutional quarantine cases are COVID warriors.
Kila Maidan has reported another 17 cases.
