Cuttack: Four of the 17 new COVID-19 positive cases in Cuttack district have been detected in areas under Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) limits.
According to a CMC tweet, two cases have been reported from the isolation ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital while one is a contact of a previous positive case from Acharya Harihara Post Graduate Institute of Cancer in the city. The remaining one is a local contact case.

“Active surveillance, contact tracing, and sanitization of the concerned areas are underway,” the post added.
With these cases, the COVID tally in Cuttack has gone up to 202. The virus has so far claimed two lives in the city.
