Cuttack City’s COVID-19 Tally Mounts To 213, Two More Cases From SCB

Cuttack: The COVID-19 tally in the Millenium City touched 213 on Thursday with 11 more persons testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.

Among these, four cases were detected in institutional quarantine and as many in home quarantine. The remaining three are local contact cases.

According to the Cuttack Municipal Corporation tweet, two cases have been reported from the isolation ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital, one from a private nursing home and another patient is a close contact of a previous case from Acharya Harihara Post Graduate Institute of Cancer. The four home quarantine cases are from Shanti Vihar in the city.

Among the local contact cases, two are CDA and one from Jagatpur.

“Active surveillance, contact tracing, and sanitization of the concerned areas are underway,” the post added.

With two deaths and 32 recoveries, Cuttack city now has 179 active cases.
