Cuttack Minor Girl Gangrape: One Arrested, Special Team Formed For Probe
Cuttack: Police on Wednesday arrested one person and recorded the statement of the 15-year-old girl, who was allegedly gang-raped for 22 days in Chauliaganj area.
Cuttack DCP Prateek Singh told the media that search is on to nab the other accused. “A special team has been formed to investigate the incident,” he added.
According to sources, the girl, hailing from Tirtol area of Jagatsinghpur district, was lured by a youth while she was waiting for a bus to return home at OMP Square. On the plea to drop her home, he took her to a poultry farm at Gatiroutapatana in Chauliaganj area where he raped her.
