Cuttack’s COVID-19 Graph Rising; City Reports Over 50 Cases

Cuttack: A steady rise in COVID-19 cases has been witnessed in the areas under Cuttack Municipal Corporation limits in the last few days.

In the last 24 hours, CMC registered 52 fresh infections (1 repeat) of the total 63 cases reported in the district.

In the last 24 hours the Rural & other ULBs reported 10 cases, while 1 was a repeat case and new recoveries stood at 16 (Urban 14 & Rural 2). Tangi and Salepur reported 5 and 2 cases respectively.

The Cuttack District Magistrate in a tweet stated that no new death was due to COVID was reported in district.

A rise of 14 cases has been observed over yesterday when 38 new cases were reported.

On April 7, out of the total 46 cases in the district, the areas under CMC limits accounted for more than half of the cases (29).

On April 6 and April 5 the number of cases registered in CMC stood at 23 and 11 respectively.
