Cuttack’s COVID-19 Tally Crosses 1500 With Highest Single-Day Spike Of 136; 97 From CMC Area

Cuttack: The district administration on Friday informed that 97 of the 136 new COVID-19 cases reported in the last 24 hours are from Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) area.

The remaining cases have been detected in Niali (25), Nischintakoili (4), Badamba (3) two each in Bank and Narsinghpur and one each in Baranga, Cuttack Sadar and Athagarh, it added.

With this, the affected tally in Cuttack has gone up to 1567. While 1043 patients have recovered from the infection, the virus has claimed nine lives in the district.
