Bhubaneswar: The CV Raman Award for Scientific Excellence for 2021 was conferred on eminent neurosurgeon and vice-chancellor of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) Deemed to be University Prof (Dr) Ashok Kumar Mahapatra at a special function held in Odisha capital on Friday.
The CV Raman Award Selection Board organised the award function at the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER) which was presided by Prof Sudhakar Panda, Director, NISER, Bhubaneswar. Prof Omkarnath
Mohanty, former vice-chancellor of Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) attended the programme as chief guest while litterateur Bijay Dash was the chief speaker.
