Bhubaneswar: With the Cyber Rath reaching Aditya Birla Public School in Bhubaneswar on Monday, the students were treated to an exposure to cyber safety and security awareness through various programmes.
Organised by a team from Commissionerate of Police, led by ACP Anajana Tudu, the programmes started with awareness sessions by cyber safety experts from the Commissionerate. Topics of the sessions ranged from safeguarding personal information to identifying and mitigating cyber threats. The students also actively participated in discussions, asking questions and sharing their concerns.
One of the highlights of the event was the poster-making competition. The students displayed their creativity by crafting visually striking posters that conveyed essential messages about cyber safety. The drawing and painting competitions and cyber safety quiz were also part of the awareness programme.
The Cyber Rath, a mobile awareness unit equipped with interactive displays and tools, was the centre of attraction. Students explored hands-on exhibits that illustrated various cyber risks. They learned how to identify phishing emails, create strong passwords, and stay safe on social media platforms.
School principal LN Dash along with the officials welcomed the Cyber Rath while N Sahu, administrative officer and a team of teachers coordinated the programme.
