Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Tuesday deferred evaluation of Matric examination answer sheets in view of the cyclone Amphan, which is set to pass along the state coast tonight.
The School and Mass Education Department said the revised dates of evaluation will announced later in a fresh notification.
Notably, School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash in a media briefing on Monday had said that the evaluation will begin at 60 centres across the state from May 21 with strict adherence to the social distancing norms.
