Bhubaneswar: With cyclone Titli intensifying into a several cyclonic storm, the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) on Wednesday opened a 24-hour Emergency Help Cell.
In a release, OPCC president Niranjan Patnaik, said that in view of the approaching cyclonic storm, a 24-hour cell will start functioning for a week from the evening of October 10 till October 16.
“It will be under the charge of the PCC general secretary Janaki Ballav Patnaik as the convener, PCC secretaries Padmakar Guru and Rasik Patnaik and other leaders Rabindra Acharya, Alekh Samal, Manas Acharya and Lingaraj Sahu as co-conveners,” he added.
He said the people in the affected districts can contact the convener and the co-conveners on the mobile numbers (7609852131, 8895203001, 9861011962, 7008799364, 9348161633, 8847858020, 9937948868 and 9237010939) and inform them about their grievances and suggestions.
