Cyclonic Circulation To Trigger Rain In Odisha From Tomorrow
Bhubaneswar: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday issued five-day yellow warning for thunderstorm with lightning accompanied by gusty surface wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph at one or two places in coastal and interior districts of Odisha from Wednesday.
The national weather agency, in a mid-day bulletin, said that the rainfall activity in the state will continue for four days till March 21 under the influence of a cyclonic circulation formed over north coastal Odisha and neighbourhood.
Yellow warning issued is as follows.
March 18
Koraput, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Balangir, Ganjam, Mayurbhanj and Sundargarh.
March 19
Nuapada, Balangir, Sonepur, Sambalpur, Boudh, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Angul, Nayagarh, Khurda, Cuttack, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur and Bhadrak.
March 20
Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapada, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Kandhamal, Nayagarh and Kalahandi.
March 21
Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Balasore , Cuttack and Mayurbhanj.
