Bhubaneswar: Odisha Vigilance teams on Friday conducted simultaneous raids at eight places in Bhubaneswar, Sundargada and Kataka in connection with allegation of possession of disproportionate assets (DA) against a government official, identified as Prasanna Kumar Patra.
Patra is the Deputy Director, Soil Conservation-cum-Project Director, Watershed, Sundargada.
Vigilance officials said the raiding parties were led by one Additional SP, 4 DSPs, 13 Inspectors, 5 ASIs and other supporting staff on the strength of search warrants issued by the Vigilance Special Judge, Sundargada.
The places raided included Flat No.8 on the 2nd floor of “Shrabani Residency” in Nayapali, Bhubaneswar.
