‘Bharat’ actor Salman Khan is doing everything possible to reach out to the needy people of his country during the pandemic crisis.
After providing financial aid to daily wage labourers, the actor has now started the ‘Anna Daan’ challenge to encourage denizens for donating food to the starving people during the lockdown people.
Asking people to participate in the ‘Anna Daan’ challenge, Salman Khan wrote on his Twitter handle, “Baba and Zeeshan have distributed ration to 25,000 families on Anna Daan. You should also be a part of this challenge- food donation. Do it yourself or through a trusted person.”
The actor shared a picture of his close friends, Baba and Zeeshan Siddiqui on his Twitter handle and stated that they have distributed ration to nearly 25,000 families till date.
As per reports, Salman had sent trucks with food for hungry labourers a few days ago.
Besides helping the people he has worked with, the actor also sent money to the accounts of people with whom he has never worked.
