Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw a marginal rise in daily COVID caseload on Saturday with 3554 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 5.17 per cent compared to 4.53 per cent the previous day amid a rise in testing from 64,255 to 68,695.
The I & PR department said that 2028 of them are from quarantine and 1526 local contacts.
Khurda reported the highest of 651 fresh infections, followed by Cuttack (501), Balasore (271), Jaipur (256) and Puri (233).

With this, Odisha now has 33,019 active cases. Khurda, Cuttack, Jajpur and Balasore continue to be in Red Zone with over 2500 active cases.
The Red Zone districts in TPR are Puri, Khurda, Jajpur, Cuttack and Nayagarh with the highest of 11.2. A total of 21 districts are in Green Zone with less than 5 per cent TPR.
