Bhubaneswar: After several months, the daily COVID-19 caseload in the Odisha capital dropped below 80 on Monday.
The city saw 74 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours, which took the affected tally to 29310.
According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 16 are quarantine and 58 local contact cases.
The last 24 hours also saw a 79-year-old man succumbing to the infection and 214 patients getting cured.
With 168 deaths and 27958 recoveries, Bhubaneswar now has 1163 active cases.
