Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID-19 caseload in the Odisha capital dropped below 70 for the second day this week with 68 more people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The city had seen 69 new cases on November 3. While 83 were found infected on November 1, the number dropped to 74 the following day. November 4 saw 75 new cases.
According to Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC), 14 of the new infections are quarantine and 54 are local contact cases.
With this, the affected tally has touched 29522.
The last 24 hours also saw three COVID-19 deaths and another 115 patients getting cured of the infection.
With 175 deaths and 28395 recoveries, Bhubaneswar now has 931 active cases.
