Bhubaneswar: Odisha reported this year’s biggest single-day spike of 2989 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
The state had seen 2267 people testing positive for the virus the previous day.
According to the I & PR Department, the new cases have been reported from all 30 districts of the state.
Among them, 1733 are quarantine and 1256 local contact cases.
Sundargarh has reported the highest of 631 cases, followed by Khurda (438), Kalahandi (260) and Cuttack (208)
