Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw a further fall in daily COVID-19 caseload on Saturday with 1695 people testing positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to I & PR department, 986 among them are quarantine and 709 local contact cases.
With this, the affected tally in the state has surged to 279582.
Khurda has reported the highest of 183 fresh cases followed by Balasore (128) and Sundargarh (110).

Odisha has been witnessing a drop in COVID-19 cases for the last five days. While less than 2000 cases were reported for four consecutive days, Friday saw 1793 people being detected as infected.
