Bhubaneswar: The COVID-19 RT-PCR tests per day in Odisha went up to 5,000 on Saturday. With this, total 11,8,466 samples have been tested in the state.
With the corona positive cases rising at a high rate in the State, particularly after the arrival of migrants from other states, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has set a target of 10,000 daily tests.
Odisha now has total 1269 corona positive cases with 826 active cases. While 436 COVID-19 patients have recovered, seven have succumbed to the disease in the state so far.
