Daily COVID Caseload Drops Below 50 In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: As the Durga Puja festivities drew to a close, Odisha on Thursday reported a slight fall in daily COVID caseload with 49 cases registered in the last 24 hours, against 68 cases on Wednesday and 91 cases on Tuesday.

According to the I & PR Department, 28 cases are from quarantine and 21 cases are from local contacts. Among the new cases, six are in the 0-18 age group. The state has 821 active cases currently.

18. Sundargarh: 5

Besides, only one from the state pool.

With 6,336 samples tested in the last 24 hours, the test positivity rate (TPR) stands at 0.77%. Odisha now has 821 active cases.
