Daily COVID Caseload Drops To 160 In Odisha; Active Cases Below 2K
Bhubaneswar: Odisha saw a drop in daily COVID caseload as 160 people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours against 173 the previous day.
The state had reported 286 cases on Friday, 195 on Thursday, and 255 on Wednesday.
According to the I & PR department, 94 of the new infections are from quarantine and 66 local contacts. Among them, 20 are in the age group of 0-18 years. Khurda reported the highest of 86 cases followed by 10 in Sundargarh. Ten districts reported nil cases.

With these cases being detected from 59,346 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 0.26%.
While the affected tally has touched 10,51,574, Odisha now has 1,955 active cases.
