Daily COVID Caseload Remains Below 4K For 2nd Day In Odisha, 42098 Active Cases
Bhubaneswar: The daily COVID caseload in Odisha remained below 4,000 for the second consecutive day on Tuesday as 3,086 more people tested positive for the virus in the last 24 hours.
The state had reported 3,329 fresh infections on Monday.
According to the I & PR department, 1,797 new cases are from quarantine and 1,289 local contacts. Among them, 454 are in the age group of 0-18 years. Khurda reported the highest of 652 cases followed by Cuttack at 352 and Sundargarh at 216.

With these cases being detected from 59,286 samples, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 5.20 per cent against 5.87 per cent the previous day.
